in 1908 as two Victorian-styled homesteads, Ballon Rouge
today offers tastefully appointed guest accommodation
in standard and superior rooms, whilst our restaurant
offers an elegant and relaxed dining experience. All perfectly
situated in the heart of Franschhoek.
Ballon
Rouge offers a variety of accommodation, each with it's
own individual style and character, ranging from standard
doubles and  twins
to superior rooms featuring queen sized beds with percale
linen, luxury bathrooms and air-conditioning. All rooms
are appointed with television and private telephone lines.
In late afternoon relax by our private resident's only
swimming pool, having spent the day exploring the attractions
of the Franschhoek valley. We are happy to arrange visits
to neighboring vineyards, trout fishing, horse riding
and bike rides. Championship golf courses and other sporting
facilities are also within easy reach.

an aperitif, after dinner cigar and digestive whilst relaxing
in our comfortable lounge and bar areas.
