Cradle Lodge is situated 2 km north of the Sterkfontein Caves in the heart of the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage Site.

Our 36 ha thatched country retreat overlooks the valley containing "Zwartkrans" - we are on the doorstep of seven wedding venues, three game reserves, two trout farms, two arts and craft rambles and various adventure activities.

The lodge offers 5 luxury rooms, each individually decorated with a lounge and patio. Guests are pampered with rose petals scattered on their bed, flowers in the room, delicious 4 course dinners and massages in the wellness centre.

Treatments range from wellness for the body, face, hands & feet through to healing treatments and are suitable for pregnant woman, men, woman, couples and people with chronic illnesses & jet lag. On arrival you will be welcomed by the staff at the wellness center and proceed with the various treatments you have chosen. Lunch & return transfers are included in the packages.
