Only 8 chalets and 2 villas ensures a holiday experience of a lifetime. In-room facilities include a hair dryer, fan and mosquito nets.

- 2 Beach Villas, each with 2 en-suite bedrooms, feature bath, outdoor shower and patio with sea views and direct beach access and a shared lounge.

Facilities include the Bar, open daily and offering poolside refreshments, the Lounge, equipped with TV monitor, the Fresh Water Swimming Pool & Boardwalk Jetty. The Gazebo, located at the end of the jetty, is the perfect setting for sundowners or private dinners.

A typical day begins with a lovely breakfast savoured amidst the tranquil surroundings of nature. Water sport enthusiasts can look forward to an array of activities, including Salt Water fly fishing, Deep Sea fishing, Snorkelling, Pedal Boats and Kayaks. Shallow and deepwater reefs reveal beautiful creatures such as great and leatherback turtles, sailfish and manta ray, to name a few. For the less energetic, quite simply, relax and enjoy.

The idyllic setting may even include large flocks of flamingo's and pelicans, truly a sight to behold. Later, enjoy sundowners with new friends, followed by a scrumptious dinner. Afterwards, gaze at the stars in an African night sky while you ponder tomorrow's "typical day".

LOCATION
Dugong Beach Lodge is situated on the East-African Seaboard, on the coast of Mozambique within the boundaries of "The Vilanculos Coastal Wildlife Sanctuary". Scheduled daily flights to Vilanculos International Airport on Pelican Air in pressurized turboprop aircraft take 2 hours from Johannesburg International Airport (JIA) and one and a half hours from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (MPQ). Air transfers from Vilanculos International Airport to Dugong Beach take 10 minutes. Boat transfers from Vilanculos International Airport to Dugong Beach Lodge take 30 - 40 minutes (depending on the tide).


RATES
Fully inclusive of accommodation, 3 meals per day. tea/coffee, bed levy, VAT and all non-motorised water activities. Boat transfers from/to Vilanculos are EXCLUDED.
