Through a
desire to share our passion for Africa with like minded adventurers, we
established Intrepid Bundu. After the first democratic elections in
1994, The Bundu Safari Company was born. With only one minibus we began
operating safaris in the Kruger National Park. Gradually the company
has grown and now operates throughout Southern Africa. We have recently
acquired our own Game Lodge, situated within the Greater Kruger Park
area and have restructured our fleet to include
custom designed safari vehicles.
Through our innovative and exciting new products and itineraries, we
have managed to keep up with the growing trends, and ever changing
markets. Growing from strength to strength, we never lose sight of our
most important aim and that is to offer personalised and value for
money safaris without sacrificing the comforts that would make your
African experience a pleasurable one.
The Bundu Safari team is African born and bred. As owner run, we pride
ourselves in service excellence at all times and are members of the
various tourism governing authorities SATSA, FGASA, THETA, SATOUR and
CAPTOUR. Operating with smaller groups we offer personalised and
reasonably priced tours.
Our guides are friendly, knowledgeable and are
qualified and registered with all the guiding bodies. Most important is
that they have a passion for Africa and its people. Being involved in
the safari industry for 10 years now, we have established a good
working relationship with many of the National Parks on our
itineraries. We have been chosen by the Kruger Park as a preferred
operator to run a unique wildlife experience within the park.
Our safaris are fun filled and energetic, overall a real African
experience.
Magnificent scenery such as the Kruger Park, Blyde River Canyon,
Drakensberg Mountains, Kwa-Zulu Natal coastline, Swaziland, Cape Town,
Wild Coast, Garden Route, Victoria Falls, Okavango Delta are just a few
of the possible sights. Our varying itineraries not only combine the
important elements of scenic, cultural and wildlife experiences but
also add a taste of adventure and in some instances pure adrenalin.
So whether it is tracking dangerous game on foot, the thrill of jumping
off the world’s highest bungee or rafting one of Africa’s wildest
rivers, we have the right combinations to make your African experience
an unforgettable one.
