After a day of game viewing there is nothing
more enjoyable than relaxing with a drink at the fully
licensed bar overlooking the pool area. In the evening
you can enjoy a true South African braai (barbeque).
Take
a leisure walk along the scenic Komati river, enjoy the
variety of bird life or try your luck at a spot of fishing.
Within 2km Golfers can enjoy a game of golf on the newly
opened golf course.
Komati Rriver Chalets is easily accessible
from the N4 and only 2 km from the Mozambique border,
ideally situated for the tourist visiting Maputo. The
Swaziland border is only 55 km away.
A Trail, situated along the banks of the
majestic Komati River, is also available to enjoy at your
leisure. The chance of seeing a Crocodile, a Hippopotamus
and her baby as well as seeing some of the numerous species
of birds, adds something truly magnificent to this nature
walk.
All
chalets are A.A. highly recommended and fully equipped
for self catering. Continental and Full Farmhouse (English)
breakfast are served in the dining room every morning
from 07h00 to 09h00 at the guest's request. Packed breakfast
can be arranged for guests departing early.
Komatipoort offers a Shopping Center,
banks, Doctors, a Pharmacy and Restaurants. In the event
of an emergency all guests are registered with M.R.I (Medical
Rescue Insurance).
The resort is maintained at a high standard
and is AA recommended.

Komati
River Chalets offers their guests the opportunity to enjoy
guided safaris into the Kruger National Park, this must
be pre-arranged with management. For those self driving,
access into the Kruger National Park is at Crocodile Bridge
Gate (11km) or at Malelane Gate (50km away). Fishing Safaris
and adventure safaris into neighbouring Mozambique and Swaziland
by professional guides are also available.
