This
working ostrich and tobacco farm in the foothills of the
Swartberg mountain range is situated on a scenic, circular
route linking the Cango Caves, the Swartberg Pass, Oudtshoorn
and Calitzdorp.
Enjoy
true South African hospitality from the Strydom family
who have farmed here for seven generations since 1759.
The
most outstanding feature of Kruisrivier, apart from the

with the murmur of water streams to lull you into complete
relaxation.

close-by include the Cango Caves, the popular 4X4 trail
into 'the Hell', the Cango Wildlife Ranch where you can
pat a cheetah and view crocodiles, Ostrich Show Farms,

coach) in the Coach House (Die Meulhuis), and up to 5
adults in the Stable (Die Stal) -3 will sleep in the original
