In
Zulu "KwaMnandi" means "a nice/good/fun place",
and that is exactly what we are about. Here divers and adventurers
from all walks of life mingle, dine, wine, relax and dream
about expeditions past and future. You will always find
friendly faces around the campfire - a customer when you
come and a friend when you leave.
Kwamnandi
is a "lekker" lodge indeed! KwaMnandi Dive Lodge
really is central to popular dive sites such as Aliwal
Shoal, Rocky Bay and Protea Banks. Sodwana Bay, Southern
Mozambique, Cape Town, Gansbaai, the Drakensberg and Wildlife
Reserves are also a few hours drive or flight away, which
makes KwaMnandi the perfect base for all of the cage,
shark, reef and wreck diving South Africa has to offer.

Rooms & Facilities
This
is how it works - we have luxury, standard en backpacker
rooms. Decide how many want to sleep where and when, and
then let us know who wants to do what. We will check availability
and either confirm or offer an alternative. The important
thing is that you talk to us.
Getting
fed is also easy. We have a fully equipped self-catering
kitchen as well as an outdoor braai area to use. If you
are too tired too cook your own steak after all the diving,
then you can book your room on a bed & breakfast basis
or on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis. Alternatively
you can have meals at our a la carte restaurant.
Staying
sober is the hardest part. A beer costs R5.00 and our
pub (the only part of the building where you may smoke)
is the place where the locals drink. We stock an indecent
number of South African wines and if you fancy something
special then we can have it in the lounge or maybe even
the cellar when it is completed later this year.
