Langebaan beach house is located in the picturesque west coast fishing village of langebaan. Idyllic setting right on the beach with spectacular views of the lagoon and surrounding islands, makes this, bed and breakfast, the perfect destination for tourist and traveller.

We offer two tastefully furnished suites. Each has 1 bedroom (queen bed or twin beds) with en-suite shower and toilet and a private lounge facing the lagoon.

We also offer one en suite bedroom (shower and toilet) with a queen bed
(Not sea facing) and one en suite bedroom (shower and toilet) with twin beds. (Not sea facing)

Breakfast is served in our enclosed patio between 8am and 9.15am. This can be enjoyed whilst watching the early morning fisherman bringing in his catch.

We have lovely spacious grounds with a swimming pool. Safe short walks to shops and restaurants and miles and miles of beach.

Local attractions include:
Whale watching
Southern Right Whales migrate annually from the Sub-Atlantic regions to calve and mate in South African waters predominantly during the months June to November and are often sighted off the West Coast. Humpback whales and the endemic Heavyside dolphin also visit our bays.

Evita se Peron, Darling
Evita se Peron is a lively place to meet, eat, drink and talk. It is from here that Mrs Evita Bezuidenhout, the most famous white woman in South Afica, keeps an eye on the progress of democracy. She is the hostess and entertains in her own inimitable style. The facilities at the Perron include Tannie Evita's pantry (restaurant) open from Tuesday to Sunday for breakfast and lunch, serving traditional South African fare.

Bird Watching at West Coast National Park
Being at the southernmost point of the migrationary route from Europe and the Steppes of Russia the West Coast is a must in the birder's calendar. The diversity of vegetation and many lagoons, marshes and river estauries support huge migrant palaerctic populations.

Darling Wine Cellars
