Located on 5km's of unspoiled head waters of the Wilge River, Luiperdskloof is set in the undiscovered wilderness of Eastern Gauteng only one hour from Pretoria and Johannesburg International Airport.

A unique eco environment teeming with wild life. Luiperdskloof Game Lodge is situated on the perennial Wilge River, which feeds the Loskop Dam, meanders along 5 kilometres of riverfront, opening into large tranquil pools and fast flowing rapids along majestic cliff faces that provides one of the best and most comfortable experiences that will live up to your African dream.

The park is fully fenced with 2,4 meter game fencing. The landscape varies from large grassy plains, hills, rock formations and cliff faces with beautiful scenery. The following game species can be seen in the park: Aard wolf, Aard vark, Baboon, Brown Hyena, Caracul, Jackal, Gray Duiker, Impala, Klip Springer, Mountain Reedbuck, Ostrich, Steenbuck, Vervet Monkey, Warthog, Kudu, Blesbuck, Blouwildebeest, Red hartbeest, Waterbuck, Eland, Redhartbeest, Springbuck and Zebra.

A temperate climate offering warm summers and mild winters. One therefore has an all year round season.


ACCOMMODATION
Luiperdskloof Game Lodge offers six exiting accommodation options:

JAKKELBESSIE LODGE (Individual chalets catered or entire camp catered/self-catering)
The chalets are built on the riverbank each with its own balcony. Meals are served in a thatch lapa complex with open fire in the middle. Luxury en-suite thatched rondawels with the choice of either two single beds or double bed. Experience a true warm African atmosphere when you go to rest after a day's activities. An outside shower and splash pool tempts you to cool-off after a hot summer day.

Enjoy a refreshing bath. Every thatched rondawel is equipped with a modern bathroom. Why not spend a cold Winter evening in front of a warm fireplace with a few friends in the lounge. Come and enjoy drinks in Jakkelbessie lodges cozy bar with jet master fireplace. Enjoy sundowners and admire the prolific bird life from the wooden deck in the thatch lounge complex overlooking the river. If the entire camp is booked, a self-catering option is also available.

TREE LODGE (Catered)
Perched high above the Wilger River, Tree Lodge consist of three wooden cabins sleeping two each with a lounge and two spacious Bathrooms.

KIEPERSOL LODGE (Self-catering)
Kiepersol consists of four luxury en-suite chalets with fireplace and fully equipped kitchen on the veranda. Braai privately in front of your chalet and enjoy the scenic view from your veranda.


RIVER CAMP (Self-catering)
Luxury Chalets on the River Bank with 2 en-suite bedrooms each, dining room, kitchen and lounge, with a fridge. Each chalet sleeps 6 persons. Communal kitchen fully equipped with all the necessary crockery and kitchen utensils, microwave, stove, fridge and deep freezer. A lapa with a fireplace where one can enjoy braais. Sheep spitbraai facilities are available, here Theo (owner) and his sons prepare a spitbraai for customers at River Camp. An affordable and ideal family holiday retreat.

HADIDA GUEST HOUSE (self-catering)
Located on the river, the house has four bedrooms, a pool table, bar, fireplace & lounge. the entire house must be booked as a unit.


WAG-'n-BIETJIE HOUSE (self-catering)
Located on the other side of the mountain with a bush view, the house has four bedrooms sleeping 8 people in total and the entire house must be booked as a unit.

BUSH CAMP (self-catering)
You were always looking for it, a change to get away from it all with absolute privacy. Your own secluded hide away in the bush, accessible only with 4 X 4 with low range/diflock - a nature lover’s paradise. Luiperdskloof Game Lodge newly built Bush Lodge is built on the banks of the Wilge river with two lapas a kitchen, dinning and lounge area with stunning views on the river. The Bush Lodge sleeps 6 persons with two modern en-suite chalets and one luxury en-suite tent. Shower outside under the waterfall, rock designed shower. The entire camp must be booked as a unit.

Our open vehicle game viewing presents surprises in the form of spectacular rock formations, cliffs and close up sighting of Blouwildebees, Zebra, Waterbuck, Rooihartbees, Kudu and many more. Our qualified rangers allow you to experience wildlife at its finest.

River Activities
The perennial Wilge River is declared as one of the cleanest rivers in the Gauteng area that provides fun filled days of swimming and fishing. The river meanders through spectacular rock formations and indigenous trees and vegetation, a bird-watchers paradise. Experience it all in piece and tranquillity of your own canoe.

Hiking
A variety of hiking trails specifically designed to provide different attraction to by life vegetation river attraction and game viewing Excitement guaranteed on every trail you decide to take.

Swimming Pool
Relax at the pool with your favourite cocktail or drink obtained from our bar. Light snacks and meals can also be ordered from our pool kiosk. The baby splash pool ensures a relaxed family retreat from a warm summers day.

Fishing
