 Whalesong
Coastal Lodge is a unique holiday destination, and is situated
in South Africa’s most charming of coastal towns,
Plettenberg Bay. The lodge, a short distance above the town
centre, has fantastic views of the bay, the mountains and
the ocean beyond. Although stylish, it is quintessentially
African - the inspiration for its design and concept is
from the bush. Accommodation is in thatched rooms and features
ethnic artwork. Within the same complex just below the lodge
lie the Kayalethu Cultural Village, a showpiece of Xhosa
culture, and an acclaimed craft centre.
 Whalesong
is a chic hotel in a happening town. In it one feels the
vibrant pulse of the new South Africa. Because Whalesong
is at the top of Plettenberg Bay, the views of the ocean,
the bay and the distant Tsitsikamma mountains are magnificent.
There are a total of 24 thatched rooms, each spaciously
decorated in an ethnic style and coming with its own bay
view terrace. Rooms are equipped with ceiling fan, mini
bar, hair drier, TV, telephone, tea/coffee station. Six
of the rooms are Family Rooms.

insight into Nelson Mandela’s home culture.
- Local traders come in and sell their wares at the African
craft centre.
- Children can find excitement at Butterflyworld.
-  An array of activities, such as golf, ocean safaris,
Stormsriver Adventures, Keurbooms river cruises can be
arranged and booked at Whalesong’s Info Centre
- And of course Whalesong is centrally located in the
town of Plettenberg Bay, which is a town of many delights.

quality health and wellness treatments and the supporting
products/services with regard to changing lifestyles and preventative
health measures in addition to the highest quality spa treatments.
